96岁高龄的大师王琦先生接受了名誉院长之职，这无疑是一次跨时代的情景演绎。他曾经带领我们走过风雨，是“七十年代”以及八十年代新兴版画界中的领军人物。而今，他继续用心指导着这片青草地，让它更加繁茂。

著名版画家郑作良、徐仲偶、王华祥、隋自更他们四位大师也同时被推举为副院长，他们每个人的贡献都是不可忽视的。他们将把自己丰富的人生经验和对艺术深邃理解融入到新的工作中去，为这个机构注入更多活力。

据了解，China Academy of Art Institute of Printmaking is not just a place for artistic creation, but also an institution that integrates research, education and promotion. It aims to form its own unique operating model based on its characteristics, adhering to the principle of "three-in-one" established by China Academy of Art: art research, art creation and art education. The institute's mission is to promote the development of Chinese printmaking art with a focus on researching the history of Chinese printmaking, sorting out the developmental trajectory, pushing forward new creators and works in printmaking, cultivating and discovering outstanding talents in this field.

The leaders of China Academy of Art Institute of Printmaking expressed their determination to serve both society and people while maintaining diversity in artistic expression. They vowed to uphold both inheritance and innovation as they strive for excellence in their work. By promoting main melodies while embracing diversity, they aim to achieve harmony between social benefits and economic efficiency.

During the ceremony itself, descendants from renowned artists such as Gu Yuan (古元), Huang Xinbo (黄新波) & Li Huai (李桦) donated valuable artworks & literature collections to China Academy Of Arts' Print Making Institute.
